“Autumn” by David Moody

samsquinchIconHello Friends , this is my first book blog.

I was a little skeptical about this particular book. My first response was that it was your typical zombie apocalypse book. After reading it I was amazed at the amount of thought that was put into the setting of the story, the build up of the characters, and how they cope with the hand they were dealt. It is truly stunning and surprising.

The story features many characters, and you get to see how each of them react to this new world over run with the corpses of family, friends, and coworkers walking the streets.

There is still a fair amount of zombie action, doing what needs to be done to survive, and the remaining living people turning on one other, but I feel the main story is the psychological impact that a tragedy like a zombie apocalypse would have.

Please don’t misunderstand me. This book will peak your interest from the first page. So if you are looking for a book that is different and captivating this is the one.

I read this book some time ago but I enjoyed it so much that I wanted it to be the first review I posted. I hope in the future my posts are a bit longer and more detailed.

Thanks and enjoy the read.
